ATTORNEY VIVIANA ACOSTA

Viviana Acosta is a Cuban-American attorney with years of experience in the legal field. She is a former law graduate from the University of Havana, Cuba. Shortly after immigrating to the United States, Ms. Acosta began her studies in Criminal Justice graduating as Suma Cum Laude from Florida International University where she earned the Worlds Ahead Award from the School of International and Public Affairs for excellence in academia. Ms. Acosta moved on to pursue a law degree at the Rafael Diaz-Balart FIU Law School earning a Juris Doctor degree as Magna Cum Laude while being Senior Staff Member at the FIU Law Review. Ms. Acosta graduated at the top 5% of her class and earned several Academic and Book Awards throughout her legal career. She has provided pro-bono legal assistance at the FIU Immigration and Human Rights Clinic and at the Immigrant Children’s Clinic. Ms. Acosta also interned as a law clerk in the Third District Court of Appeals and the Federal Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit. She is licensed to practice Law in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Florida.
